Meet the Staff - Bountiful Dentist

Mindy Ferguson

Mindy Ferguson is the only dental hygienist working at Legacy Family Dental. She is from Logan, Utah where she graduated from Logan High School in 2000. She then began her education at Utah State University. It was there where she decided on a career path and completed her two years of prerequisites for dental hygiene school.

She had the dream of obtaining her Bachelors of Science from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho because of the very well known and highly accredited dental hygiene school there. She was nervous to apply, but very relieved and excited when she received her acceptance letter. She began the program in the Fall of 2002 and graduated in the Spring of 2004. It was a long, hard program, but Mindy is so thankful for the education that she received and the life long friends that she made there.

She cleaned teeth in Logan for about seven months after she graduated before she departed on an eighteen month mission to Southern California. During this time she had many life changing experiences and made lots of friends that she will have forever.

Upon returning, she moved to the Salt Lake area, began working at Legacy Family Dental, and recently married the man that she thought only existed in her dreams. This is the happiest time in her life. She loves her job, her family, and all the new people that she meets every day. She definitely looks forward to the future and believes there are no strangers, only friends that she has never met.

Jessica Ferrin

Jessica Ferrin loves being a dental assistant at Legacy Family Dental. She has lived in the Bountiful area her entire life except for living in St. George when she was very young and then Logan while attending Utah State University for her freshman year of college. She graduated with honors from Bountiful High School in 2005. During high school she attended Davis Applied Technology College for dental assisting and is now studying Family and Consumer Science.

Jessica loves having fun and is usually up for just about anything but especially enjoys dancing, reading, backpacking, and making anything in the kitchen. She adores kids and looks forward to having a family of her own someday. She is a people pleaser and is happy when those around her are happy. She truly believes that "a smile is the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart."

Camie Johnson

Camie Johnson is the office manager here at Legacy Family Dental! Camie was born in Payson, UT and grew up in Springville, UT. Moving to Bountiful in the 6th grade it was such a change for her, it was a much bigger city. She attended Bountiful High 1999-2001. She then attended Salt Lake Community College where she started her generals. Shortly after that she enrolled at Cameo College of Essential Beauty where she earned her Master Esthetics License. She loves being in the spa scene and would love to open her own spa one day.

Life to her means having the best friends and family who you love, close around you. Life right now for her is perfect she just got engaged in June and plans to wed next spring. Her fiancé is amazing; he is the kind of man that would do anything for anyone. He has a huge heart and loves kids. They enjoy traveling together and experiencing new things!

Camie loves coming to work, she says "Its like working with family everyday!" She really enjoys working in the dental field and is excited to help with Insurance and personal accounts.

In the future she is planning to travel the world, she loves to travel and meet new people. She also loves interior décor , shopping and swimming!

Brynne Bowen

Brynne Bowen is the youngest in a family of eight. She was very spoiled while growing up. She graduated from Spring Creek High in 2005 and realized the life of work. Brynne decided she wanted to become a Dental Assistant. She attended school in St. George, Utah. Now she works full time at Legacy Family Dental in Bountiful Utah. She loves to do pencil art, snow board, and hip-hop dance.

Brynne is a very happy person for the most part, but she does have her bad days. Even on those bad days she tries to make the best of it by keeping a smile on her face. She enjoys being around people who have good energy. She has lots of friends spread out all over the USA. She has had a wonderful boyfriend for four years now. They have been dating long distance for about two of those years and want to settle down someday. They love to do outgoing activities, but also like to just watch movies on the couch.

Brynne really wants the best for herself and everyone around her. She really likes to make people feel better about themselves. Her favorite quote is: "laugh at yourself before anyone else can."
